Birthday notes and family ties

The visit coincided with Prince Louis turning eight; his siblings are Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 10. Louis' birthday came days after the 100th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's birth, when William and Kate joined other royals at Buckingham Palace events. The children attend Lambrook School in Windsor, which had just resumed classes.
