Attorney John W. Harris for the accusers celebrated the dismissal as a decisive win, calling Robinson's countersuit a retaliatory attempt to silence survivors. Robinson's lawyer Christopher Frost pushed back, saying the court erred in dismissing claims and insisting there is ample evidence of malice and inconsistencies in the accusers' testimony.
The four unnamed women sued Robinson on May 6, 2025 seeking $50 million, alleging sexual assault and coercion; Robinson filed a $500 million cross-complaint on May 28, 2025 accusing them and their counsel of defamation and other claims. The Robinsons' December request for a temporary restraining order over alleged theft from a storage unit was denied, and new battery allegations have surfaced. A trial is scheduled for October 2027.
