New guide and UK launch

On May 6 she will appear at the University of East London to launch Foundations for Life: A Guide to Social and Emotional Development, published by her Centre. The guide and a new online hub aim to help those working with very young children focus on loving, responsive relationships and practical support.

Building momentum for early years

Kate set up the Centre in 2021 and launched the Shaping Us campaign in 2023, spotlighting how the first five years shape lifelong wellbeing. Her work includes engaging businesses and charities such as Anna Freud; researchers and leaders have praised the way she is bringing attention and resources to quiet, early support efforts.
