Remembering a friendship

Since Keaton’s death on Oct. 11, 2025, Williams-Paisley has reflected on their bond from working together on Father of the Bride (1991) and its 1995 sequel. She called Keaton an idol and a comforting, wise presence who helped her through anxiety early in her career.
